Therapy for

Midlife Support

One upon a time, You had it all figured out

Job.

Family.

Church.

House.

Vacation.

Friends.
(when it works for everyone's schedule)

Then the questions started to swirl

Is this all there is?

How did I get here?

How long do I have to keep doing this job?

Did I make a wrong turn somewhere?

I have all I've ever wanted, so why do I feel restless?

Why don't I sense God like I used to?

Am I having a "midlife crisis"?

If you are in a season of life that doesn't look like you thought it would, or you're not entirely sure if you're where you're "supposed" to be, it might be time to pause and reexamine.

You don't have to start over, but you may need to take a long hard look at the crossroads you're at.

For many people in midlife, disillusionment begins to settle in like a slow, quiet fog. You start questioning everything from your job choice to why you let you kids play off-season club sports. Soon enough, dissatisfaction and exhaustion take over.

It's like living upside down in a world that looks somewhat familiar, and yet, not at all like the life you want to live.

Midlife doesn't need to be a crisis.

Choosing to care for your own heart is a courageous step to take in the midst of all that you're holding in your 40s and 50s. Naming your experience and being on the receiving end of good care can help give you the perspective and clarity you need in your midlife years.

Ultimately, as you tend to your soul (and allow God to do the same), you expand your vision, refocus your priorities, and clarify what's most important in life. This opens possibilities and realigns your life with meaning and hope. This is the path back to a life that you love.
