Supervision FAQ

Do you offer supervisory billing?

No, I do not. I primarily work with private pay therapists. You are still welcome to work with me for clinical supervision, but you will also need to retain a billing supervisor.

Are there areas you do not offer supervision for?

Currently, I do not offer supervision for therapists who work with minors under the age of 18, substance addiction, or psychotic disorders.

How much supervision do I need?

The State of Colorado has very specific requirements based on when you graduated. For most people, 100 hours of clinical supervision must occur concurrently with the accrual of a specific number of direct client hours. This can't happen any faster than 2 years.

Will you help me set up my private practice?

As a clinical supervisor, my focus is on the ethical care of your clients. That being said, ethical care often means thinking through the structures of your practice and how they affect your clients, so the administrative side of running a private practice is inherently a part of supervision.

I'm a Christian, but my clients are not. Can I still work with you?

Definitely! Just because you are a Christian does not guarantee that all of your clients will share your faith. This is an important part of navigating the ethical side of the Christian faith in therapy. I offer supervision to therapists who have both Christian and secular clients.
