Therapy with me looks like...

My style of relating is warm, direct, and curious.

Our time together will feel like a fluid and reflective conversation, with lots of questions, and space for you to think. There will be invitations for deeper processing and even some laughter and levity as we journey together.

I probably won't give you worksheets or "homework" to do - I'd much rather get to the roots of your pain than offer you band-aids - though I'll happily suggest helpful books, podcasts, and resources to aid you in your growth.

Above all, I will hold your story with gentleness, safety, and respect. If you're curious to know more about what therapy together might look like, click here.

What my clients say...

My clients would describe me as an intuitive guide - an old soul who brings depth into a room. They would say I meet them without an agenda and that I seek to collaborate with them instead of telling them what to do.

They would also tell you that they feel deeply cared for in therapy. This is not a manufactured transaction where you pay me for an hour of conversation. This is a real relationship where you are known and your story is held with care.

Many of my clients would say that, surprisingly, therapy has become a highlight of their week and they genuinely look forward to coming to my office. For many, therapy is a welcome refuge where they can process, grow, lament, and find restoration.

Why I am a trauma therapist...

Healing is my life's work. It is my calling.

My passion for working with people who are hurting comes from my own life experience. From chronic health issues to childhood trauma and the deepest of grief, I am no stranger to suffering. Darkness does not scare me - I have no fear walking alongside you through your deepest pain.

Through my suffering, I have also experienced the goodness of healing and restoration. My own therapeutic journey has been one of the most transformative experiences I've ever undertaken. I have experienced God's healing touch in this journey, which is something I believe He desires for all people - to be free of bondage and to live wholeheartedly in the Light.

A little extra...

In addition to being a licensed therapist, I am also a wife, sister, professional photographer, gardener, deep thinker, artist, writer, and follower of Jesus.

I was born and raised in Colorado and I have lived in Fort Collins for the last 18 years with my husband David. I have a deep love and affection for the wilderness and desert landscapes. In my free time, you'll find me exploring the American West in search of beauty and solitude in wild places.
