Trainings + Workshops
In addition to being a therapist and spiritual director, I am also passionate about education and helping others learn about and adopt a trauma-informed lens.
I am an adjunct faculty member at Denver Seminary where I teach an intensive course on Trauma-Informed Spirituality. Blending together psychology, theology, and trauma-informed care are some of my deepest callings in life. Please contact me if you are interested in hosting a training at your church, in your ministry, or for groups within your sphere of influence.
Trainings and Workshops I Offer
Trauma-Informed Small Group Leaders
Help equip and train small group leaders in your church to effectively identify and navigate
trauma that occurs within their small groups. This includes relational rupture within the
group. suicide risk assessment, and caring for those who have trauma in their background.
Having trauma-informed leaders within your church and small groups helps promote health
within your church's sub-communities and congregation as a whole.
Trauma-Informed Spiritual Direction
Spiritual Directors often find themselves in the realm of trauma because of the interpersonal
nature of Spiritual Direction. This training helps equip Spiritual Directors to encounter and
navigate trauma in a way that offers care without re-traumatization. Training includes how to
identify markers of trauma, assess for suicide risk, and make appropriate referrals.
Fees
Workshops and trainings are $200/hr + travel and mileage expenses
